"Our aim is to orchestrate acts of kindness, purely with the intention of making people happy."
"No matter how big or how small, if it's a good idea we'll do it."
Art for Autism - 17th June 2017
OAKS founder Dennis read the words ‘Orchestrated Acts of Kindness’ in a book whilst studying Sociology at The University of Glasgow and the phrase instantly caught his attention. He got to work on a strategy plan, a logo and a Facebook page with the support of his friends and co-founder Amy. Passion led to quick progression and the first ever OAKS event happened in August 2015 at an O.A.P Bingo Club in Action, London. Since then OAKS has gone from strength to strength, gaining momentum and helping different community groups in London and beyond.

Future events 2017
OAKS is an open-armed group of London based volunteers who get together to carry out acts of kindness and help individuals and community groups that need it most. Always on the lookout for new ideas, we hope to grow into a self-sufficient movement and have an increasingly positive impact on people's lives.
To orchestrate new and exciting acts of kindness and collaborate with as many individuals, groups, companies and charities as we can. Spreading kindness everywhere we go, we provide a platform for people to join the kindness revolution.
We believe kindness should become the natural way of life and not the exception. By carrying out small kind acts at a community level, we can have a huge impact. OAKS is about making connections with others and creating something amazing together, which can be hard in this often lonely and isolated world we live in.
If you would like to come along to one of our events or you have an idea for a future OAKS, check out the Get Involved page or get in touch via our Contact Us page. Our events are really fun and a great way of meeting new people, helping others and gaining new experiences.
